T2 Padded Shorts come with 7 multi-layer/multi-density pads that are held in seven pockets on the back and sides of the shorts. The pockets are designed to allow minimal spacing between the pads. Tortoise Pads sends only BRAND NEW – UNUSED products to Amazon for Fulfillment by Amazon. DESIGNED IN CALIFORNIA – MADE IN THE USA – Ideal for pro freestyle scooters, skateboarding, inline skating, snowboarding and other action sports. FOAM COLORS MAY VARY FROM PICTURES.
CUSTOMIZABLE PAD THICKNESS – All sizes come with a 5/8″ thick pad configuration, and an extra 1/8″ thick layer of firm foam that can be added to make 3/4″ thick pads. The inner layer of padding is the softest and the outer layer is the firmest. See the image gallery for some of our recommended layer configurations. WARNING: The tailbone pad should not be reduced to a total thickness of less than 1/2â, and the glute pads should not be reduced to a total thickness of less than 3/8â.
FLEXIBLE MULTI-LAYER DESIGN – Our multiple layer design allows our foam to constantly reshape, creating pads that move the way you do. HIGH QUALITY FOAM – Our high impact pads are made from premium grade orthopedic foams. EXTRA STRONG WAIST BAND – We use a wide 1.5″ jacquard elastic waistband combined with a draw cord to help ensure that the shorts and pads don’t slip down during use.
